If you email info@vaeleric.com, we receive whatever information you choose to include — typically your name, email address, and message. We use this solely to respond to your inquiry and, if a business relationship follows, to communicate about that work. We do not use it for marketing without your separate consent, and we do not sell or share it with third parties. This currently happens by email; if we add a contact or quote-request form to this site, the same principles will apply to it — we'll collect only what you submit in order to respond to you — and we'll update this section to describe the form before it goes live.
This site is hosted via Cloudflare, which may process technical data as part of standard web infrastructure and security. See Cloudflare's Privacy Policy for details of their processing.
Correspondence is retained only as long as necessary to respond to your inquiry or, where a business relationship follows, for as long as reasonably required for that relationship and applicable legal/accounting obligations.
As Vaeleric takes on custom development work for other companies, we may issue invoices to clients. When we do, we collect the billing details necessary to issue and record that invoice — typically a company name, billing contact, address, and, where applicable, a VAT or UID number. Invoices and related accounting records are retained for as long as required under Swiss commercial and tax law — currently ten years, under Article 958f of the Swiss Code of Obligations — even after a project or business relationship ends.
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or request deletion of personal data you've shared with us under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (nDSG) and, where applicable, the EU GDPR. Contact info@vaeleric.com to exercise these rights. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC), Switzerland's data protection authority, or, where the EU GDPR applies to you, with your local supervisory authority.
We may update this policy as the company and its activities develop — including before the contact form or invoicing described above actually go live. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision.
